Our Coaching Staff


Nik Crouch




Nik has been with Mac N Seitz since July of 2019.
Nik played collegiately for Vanguard University, and then was a draft pick of the Chicago Cubs organization back in 2005.
After his professional career, Nik served as the Director of Baseball Operations for the University of San Diego, then was the Hitting and Catching coach for Vanguard University.
Nik is also certified by OnBase University for Hitting Instruction.

Chad Wilfawn


Chad played collegiately for Kansas City Kansas CC, then for North Alabama University.
He has been an instructor with the Mac N Seitz organization since January of 2006.
He is well-versed in all things hitting - from swing mechanics, to body movement, to how the human body functions in relationship to hitting.
Chad is certified by OnBase University, an organization whose philosophy tries to match an athlete’s physical abilities to their technical skills.
This helps them perform at the highest level possible in their respective sport.

Jordan Floyd


After being drafted by the Yankees out of HS, Jordan attended Kansas State where he set the all time record for appearances over his 4 year career while playing for the K-State Wildcats.
Out of college, he was drafted by the Royals in the 10th rd of the 2017 MLB Amateur Draft.
While currently working on his Masters of Sports Management at Baker University, Jordan is in his first year as the pitching coach for the Baker Wildcats. Previously he was an assistant coach at Blue Valley Southwest High School.

Nate Arnold




Nate was a catcher for the University of Kansas in 2011-2012. He then went to play at Allen County CC in 2013.
In 2014, he became a C/RHP at Pittsburg State University until 2016.
Before Mac N Seitz, he was a director of facilities and head instructor at World Class Sports from 2018-2020

Chie Gunner


Chie was a '95 & '96 1st team all conf/ 1st team all metro/ 2nd team all-state honors as of Grandview HS
As a 10th round draft pick of the Tampa Bay Rays, he played 2 years for the Gulf Coast Devil Rays & Princeton Devil Rays. Here he became the Org's most improved minor league player in 1997
Now, Chie has been a Mac N Seitz Instructor since 1998

Dakota Smith




Smith played several seasons prior to college for former Kansas City Royal, Mike Macfarlane as part of the Mac ‘n’ Seitz Indians. He then went on to play baseball at the University of Kansas.
Smith spent five years as a pitcher at the professional level, with experience in every bullpen role. He finished his professional career with the New Britain Bees.
Coach Smith is a graduate assistant coach with the OU baseball program and is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a performance enhancement specialist. He helps with private instruction for pitching, hitting, and strength training in his spare time.

Michael Jacobs


Michael Jacobs is the pitching coach at Olathe West High School.
Prior to joining the Olathe West coaching staff, Michael served as an assistant baseball coach at St. Thomas Aquinas High School from 2011-2017. At Aquinas, Michael held a variety of different roles but primarily worked with the pitching staff. He helped coach Aquinas teams to 5A state titles in 2014 and then again in 2016.
Michael attended the University of Iowa from 2006-2010 and pitched 4 years for Hawkeye baseball team in a variety of different roles.
