Mike ‘Mac’ Macfarlane
Hitting / Catching Instructor
Mike Macfarlane is a former MLB catcher who played with the Kansas City Royals, Boston Red Sox, and Oakland Athletics during his 12-year Major League career. He played collegiately for Santa Clara University and was selected in the 4th round of the 1985 MLB draft by the Kansas City Royals.
Mac is a former High School baseball coach for the Mac N Seitz Baseball Club, and is currently the Head Softball Coach for the 18U Mac N Seitz – Storm (Gold) softball team. Mac is also a volunteer assistant Hitting Coach for the Avila University Softball team.
