Owen is from Barrington, Illinois, where he played High School baseball for Barrington High School.

He was recruited out of high school and played college baseball at Carthage College until he graduated in 2019.

• 2022 – He played for the New Jersey Jackals of the Frontier League and then the High Point Rockers of the Atlantic League.
• 2023 – Owen played for the Charleston Dirty Birds of the Atlantic League.
• 2023 – He became a player/manager for the Kenosha Kings in the Wisconsin State League leading them to the Wisconsin Class A Championship.
• 2024 – became the Bench Coach and First Base Coach for the Chicago Dogs of the American Association

Owen joins the Mac N Seitz organization as the Assistant Pitching Coordinator under Gonzo Gonzalez, and will be the Lead Strength Coach for our High School and Youth programs during the Fall and Winter programs.
