Ryan is from Olathe, Kansas, where he played High School baseball for Olathe South High School before he graduated in 2018.

He was First Team All-State and All-Region in 2018. 2018 Rawlings Gold Glove Award Winner – one of only 9 players Nationwide to earn this award.

He was recruited out of high school to Wichita State University (redshirted his only season there) before transferring to Pittsburg State University. Ryan was 2nd Team All-MIAA in 2021.

Ryan played 3 seasons at Pittsburg State University before he transferred to Missouri Western University in 2024. He played one season at Missouri Western and was named 2nd Team All-MIAA in 2024.

Ryan is available for hitting and fielding lessons for all ages.
